What can I say about Rome that has not been said before. It is hectic, stunning, beautiful, dirty, smelly, rich, colourful, expensive, full of hidden gems and startling vistas.
The 7 hills surrounding Rome offer great views, cooler summer weather and beautiful parks and hidden gardens. Crusader and Templar churches.
I spent a day riding a Vespa around Rome's sights and up into the hills around Rome which was one of the most memorable experiences ecially once we rode up to the Appian Way.
I also did some of the tourist sights such as the Coliseum, Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon.
